This herbivore had two parallel rows of tall spikes down its neck, back and tail. These back rows might have been covered with skin, forming as if a sail or two.
Amargasaurus used to walk on four legs, had a small head, a long neck and a very long tail. It had to eat lots of plants for sustenance every day.
It used to swallow the leaves without chewing and might have had stomach stones to help it digest solid food. Amargasaurus had dull teeth, useful for tearing leaves.
